Bark Control devices
A bark control device is a training and communication tool for you and your pet. The device helps you communicate with your dog and let him know what behavior is appropriate. Generally, a bark control device senses your dog’s barking. As he barks, he receives a safe but annoying correction instantaneously. He’ll quickly learn the association and stop his unwanted behavior.
There are several types of bark control options available to you.
Spray and Static Correction Bark Collars
Your dog can wear a collar that corrects barking with either a spray, or a static correction. Spray collars emit a short burst of spray in front of your dog. It startles him and breaks his bark-bark-bark pattern. Static correction is a mild electrical pulse, similar to when you shuffle across carpet and touch a metal doorknob. The safe pulse interrupts your dog’s barking pattern.
Collars are available in a number of sizes, and varying levels of correction. You should choose a collar based on the size and temperament of your pet.
Typically, when your begin using a bark control you will see a difference in your pet’s barking within just a few days. With these collars, it is important to remove the collar from your pet for a few hours everyday for your pet’s comfort.
Our bark collars consistently interrupt your dog’s nuisance barking, training your dog to control barking when it is inappropriate. But these products also have a built-in safety feature to ensure that if he needs to communicate with you for a dog reason, he can.

Ultrasonic bark control
We also offer ultra sonic bark control. Ultra sonic bark control is brought to you in the form of a small freestanding device that detects your dog’s bark and emits an ultra sonic high frequency sound. Ultrasonic technology is typically inaudible to humans but annoying to your dog. He’ll learn to associate his excessive barking with the negative sound. Choose ultra sonic products for indoor and outdoor use.
Some pet owners report that their pets get used to the ultra sonic sound -- just like humans that live near train tracks or an airport eventually adapt to the sound and don’t notice it anymore. If you ever experience this with your pet, simply turn off your ultra sonic unit for a day or two and then turn it back on.

Choosing the right bark collar
You have three bark control methods available to you and each is available in a variety of shapes and sizes. How to pick the one that is right for you? Here are a few tips to help you choose.
Your dogs size – Collars are designed for large, medium and small dogs. Once you have chosen the correction type that you want to use for your pet, choose the collar designed for their size.
Correction type – Spray, static, and ultrasonic correction methods have all been found to be effective in significantly reducing barking. The method that will be most effective for your pet depends largely on you, the owner. Maintenance of your collar including replacing batteries, checking the fit of the collar, and refilling spray collars will make all the difference in having a great experience with your pet.
A note about ultrasonic:
Ultra sonic is often better for a household with fewer dogs. Because the ultrasonic correction can be heard by any dog within range of the unit, the training provided with the unit may not be as effective. If you have several barkers in your home, you may wish to go with a spray or static collar which has often dual bark detection such that only the dog barking receives the correction.
